Silah Ismail is the 45th son of Yag Uzun and has a total of 77 siblings, none of which he knows the face of.

After the Civil War, he succeeds as the third generation and current Sultan of the Bıçak Stratocracy.

Personality

Compared to the other three sultans from this generation, Ismail could be said as the one that has not been properly 'explored' by the plot, due to his lack of flashback and familial ties with other significant characters in his debut arc. However, from what little that we get, it can be inferred that Ismail originally has quite unique moral values when compared with the other three sultans. He is significantly more pragmatic and ruthless in nature, only choosing to join the rebel's side after Beyazit showed Shark-Yay to him, which in his opinion would give the rebel's side a good chance of winning the war.

History

Ismail was born as one of Sultan Yag Uzun's many children. At a certain age, he got adopted by a trade company at the Sultan's command, in order to train his trading skill.
